Article 1. Purpose
These Terms and Conditions are established to define the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of both Sun Vascular Clinic (hereinafter referred to as the “Clinic”) and users in connection with the use of Internet-based services (hereinafter referred to as the “Services”) provided by the Clinic.
Article 2. Definitions of Terms
1) “Sun Vascular Clinic” refers to the website operated by the Clinic, created using computers and other information and communication technologies to provide Internet-related services to users.
2) “User” refers to any individual, whether a member or non-member, who accesses the Sun Vascular Clinic website and uses the services provided in accordance with these Terms.
3) “Member” refers to an individual who has completed the registration process prescribed by Sun Vascular Clinic, receives ongoing information from the Clinic, and is authorized to continuously use the services provided by the Clinic.
4) “Non-member” refers to an individual who uses the services provided by Sun Vascular Clinic without completing membership registration.
5) Any terms not specifically defined herein shall be interpreted in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, as well as the policies and guidelines established by Sun Vascular Clinic.
Article 3. Membership Registration
Sun Vascular Clinic may approve an applicant’s membership registration unless any of the following conditions apply:
① The applicant has provided false, incomplete, or inaccurate information during registration.
② The clinic determines that approving the registration would cause significant technical or operational difficulties.
③ The membership agreement is deemed effective when Sun Vascular Clinic’s approval is delivered to the applicant.
④ If a member’s registered information changes, the member must promptly notify Sun Vascular Clinic of the change via email or other appropriate means.
Article 4. Membership Termination and Disqualification
1) A member may cancel their membership at any time by following the withdrawal procedure provided on the website.
2) Sun Vascular Clinic may restrict, suspend, or withhold approval of membership if any of the following apply, and may maintain such restrictions until the issue is resolved:
- ① The applicant has submitted false information at the time of registration.
- ② The member disrupts another person’s use of the website, steals information, or otherwise interferes with the site’s operation.
- ③ The member uses Sun Vascular Clinic’s services to engage in activities that violate laws, these Terms, or public morals.
- ④ The member unlawfully uses another person’s ID or password.
- ⑤ The member distributes computer viruses or malicious programs through the site.
- ⑥ The member infringes on the intellectual property rights of Sun Vascular Clinic, other members, or third parties, and fails to remedy the violation upon request.
- ⑦ Sun Vascular Clinic terminates a member’s eligibility, and the member’s registration is deleted. In such cases, the clinic will notify the member in advance and provide an opportunity for explanation before final deletion.
Article 5. Protection of Personal Information
(1) Sun Vascular Clinic strives to protect members’ personal information, including registration details, in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. The protection and management of members’ personal information shall be governed by relevant laws as well as the Clinic’s Privacy Policy, as separately established by Sun Vascular Clinic.
Article 6. Obligations of Sun Vascular Clinic
1) Sun Vascular Clinic shall make its best efforts to provide continuous and stable services in accordance with applicable laws and these Terms and Conditions.
2) Sun Vascular Clinic shall take all necessary measures to manage and secure members’ personal and credit information, ensuring that users can safely access and use the Internet-based services.
Article 7. Obligations of Members
1) Members must comply with applicable laws, these Terms and Conditions, and all other relevant service policies. Members shall not engage in any of the following actions:
- ① Members are solely responsible for managing their own ID and password.
- ② Members shall not allow any third party to use their ID or password.
- ③ If a member becomes aware that their ID or password has been stolen or is being used by a third party, the member must immediately notify Sun Vascular Clinic and follow any guidance provided by the Clinic.
- ④ IDs shall, in principle, be issued under the member’s real name as stated on their official identification. However, this requirement does not apply to organizations or groups.
- ⑤ IDs may not be shared or transferred to others. If a member shares or transfers their ID without prior consultation with Sun Vascular Clinic, the Clinic may suspend or terminate the corresponding account. This restriction does not apply if a separate agreement has been made between Sun Vascular Clinic and the member under specific conditions.
2) If Sun Vascular Clinic discovers that a member or user has engaged in any of the prohibited acts specified in Paragraph 1, the Clinic may suspend or revoke that member’s account.
Article 8. Deletion of Public Posts or Content
If any public post or content uploaded by a member violates the provisions of Article 7, Paragraph 1, or exceeds the prescribed storage limits, Sun Vascular Clinic may delete such content without prior notice or consent.
Article 9. Rights and Responsibilities Concerning Posted Content
1) The copyrights and other intellectual property rights for all materials created by Sun Vascular Clinic shall belong to the Clinic.
2) All rights and responsibilities, including copyrights, for posts uploaded by members shall belong to the respective members who created and posted such content.
Article 10. Provision of Information and Display of Advertisements
1) Sun Vascular Clinic may provide members with various information deemed necessary during the course of service use through notices, email, or other appropriate means.
2) Sun Vascular Clinic may display advertisements on service pages, emails, or other media related to the operation of its services.
Article 11. Amendments to the Terms and Conditions
1) Sun Vascular Clinic may revise these Terms and Conditions to the extent that such revisions do not violate the Telecommunications Business Act or other applicable laws and regulations of the Republic of Korea.
2) When Sun Vascular Clinic amends these Terms, it shall specify the effective date and the reasons for the amendment, and shall announce them on the homepage of the website at least seven (7) days prior to the effective date until the day before implementation.
3) The revised Terms and Conditions shall also apply to existing members, unless the amended provisions conflict with applicable laws and regulations.
4) Members who do not agree with the revised Terms may withdraw their membership in accordance with Article 4, Paragraph 1.
Article 12. Disclaimer
1) Sun Vascular Clinic shall not be held responsible for any failure to provide services due to natural disasters or other events of force majeure.
2) Sun Vascular Clinic shall not be liable for the accuracy or reliability of any information, data, or facts posted by members or third parties other than materials officially provided by the Clinic.
Article 13. Jurisdiction
Any legal disputes arising between Sun Vascular Clinic and a member in connection with the use of services shall be brought before the court having jurisdiction over the location of the Clinic’s principal office.
